On the recent Christmas Eve night in Charleston, SC I found that the empty sidewalks, streets presented the perfect opportunity for trekking with the camera.  In this trek, I met some very unique people.  Upon walking toward some displayed Maseratis parked at the Charleston Place Hotel, I met Theodore Bethune who spent majority of his life in New Jersey and retired to farming in the Paxville, SC area.  A relative to civil rights leader Mary McLeod Bethune, and color barrier breaking tennis player Althea Gibson, at his age 81, his words of advice were “Sitting in front of the television will age you to death, enjoy the outdoors…” View Larger
